Sports Netting from Spider to Basketball Netting
When your business is manufacturing safety and amusement netting, people call you with all sorts of fun projects. We would like to say it’s because we like a challenge, but we’ve been told by clients that they look to us to solve their problems. There is a subtle connection between sports netting and amusement netting, which most people don’t realize and that is – it’s all really just safety netting. We all want to be safe, especially when we are playing and having fun.
At Pucuda MFG we often find that that we are getting jobs with companies that are simultaneously engaged in construction safety, as well as amusement ride and park design. One day we might be working on safety netting for a building project, and a few days later we’re designing a sports netting or climbing cargo net for an amusement theme park.
Many different kinds of projects have come through the doors at Pucuda MFG. It may be that brilliant red safety netting system which we designed for the Red Bull Flugtag flying machine event.
Or, it could be the giant spider netting which we created for an amusement park.
One of our favorites was the enormous basketball hoop and net which we manufactured for Footlocker. We made a whole bunch of the giant hoops and nets for their stores, only to discover that we had one extra – so we kept it for ourselves.
